Come and join us at Haywood Farm for a walking tour of our orchards.

Learn about the history of traditional cider making, how Tom came to begin making cider and what we do here at Haywood Farm, all accompanied by a generous cider and apple juice sampling.

We also offer the opportunity to add on a cheeseboard at the end of the tour, including some delicious local cheeses and our very own Haywood Farm apple chutney.

We run our tours most Thursdays from around May to September.

Cost: £15 per adult.

Please contact us by phone or using the contact form to check availability and prebook your places.

Tours begin at 2.30pm and usually take around 2 - 2.5 hours.

 FAQs

  • Just give us a call on 01208 840140, or fill in the contact form on our website and we will get back to you!

  • We have plenty of on site parking available.

  • Unfortunately, due to the terrain the orchard part of the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with young children requiring a pushchair.

  • Yes, families are welcome on the orchard tours, although please be aware that we are a working farm so there will be machinery and hazards around the site. Please ensure your children remain with you whilst at the farm.

  • We are happy to welcome well behaved dogs on leads for the tours. Please bring your own doggy bags to clear up after your dog. We don’t have dog poo bins onsite so we kindly ask you to take it away with you for disposal.

  • Yes, we have toilets available for visitors to use.

  • We run our tours in most weather situations, however we recommend waterproof clothing and footwear if the weather looks bad. The orchard and farm areas can get very wet and muddy and there isn’t much shelter from the elements in the orchards! If the weather is particularly nasty we will consider cancelling the tour so we ask you for contact details when you book so we can let you know if a tour is not going ahead.
